Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use Dayforce to process payroll and use WFM for time collection as well as simple scheduling. We liked that the product was all in one and we can view paychecks instantly as we go throughout the pay period. It is being used by the whole organization.
Pros
- Easy Navigation and use of the WFM and payroll side
- Dozens of reports for users, managers and admins
- Plenty of Notifications
Cons
- Mobile needs some improvements such as timesheet approval and better shift swapping capabilities
- Better functionality around shift swaps
- The whole validate and lock idea is a bit cumbersome
- We have definitely seen an increase in efficiency and productivity by enabling employees to have self-service for taxes and direct deposits.
- We have been able to reduce errors by being able to review the payroll thoroughly pre processing.
- We have saved some cost by having 1 vendor instead of multiple platforms.
It allows us to stay compliant with our internal auditors by allowing us to provide many reports with the data that they are looking for. Also it is able to keep up with all the changing state and Fed changes pretty easily.
We don't really use the tool for the aspects listed above but it has allowed us to do many audits before processing which catches errors before the checks are cut.
We are able to audit and correct any errors before payroll is processed.
