Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is being used across our whole organization to help our globally distributed teams collaborate on our products and services. It's also used as an event tool to allow for lunch and learns within our organization. Cisco Webex Meetings use has also been huge in keeping our teams in touch with each other throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Audio and video quality is consistent
  • Cisco Webex Meetings is updated regularly
  • Cisco Webex Meetings has been a proven secure meeting service for a long time
  • Lacking a good non-disruptive update process for client side tools, like Outlook plugins etc. Today it requires users to log out of Outlook and back in, which can be cumbersome for some users.
  • Better options for blurring or masking your background. With more employees at home, the ability to mask your background would encourage more employees to use video during our meetings.
  • Current Cisco Webex Meetings APIs could be improved to allow for easier ingestion of Webex DUA/WUA/MUA reporting.
  • Better alerting when the service is experiencing issues.
  • We've cut down on travel because Cisco Webex Meetings has filled that role for most business units.
  • We've saved by being able to spin up offices in other countries where resources are less expensive.
  • We continue to bring collaboration within teams as well as between different teams without the need of an expensive on-premises VTC solution.
Cisco Webex Meetings is by far the front runner when compared to the products above in cost, ease of use, and quality of experience for our end-users. Cisco Webex Meetings' intuitive client and web interface make it easy for users who have never used it to come up to speed with the features and functionality of Cisco Webex Meetings quickly.

Webex Meetings Support

Sometimes even with our Webex Account Team and SME, it's hard to get support to respond to Cisco Webex Meetings issues in a timely matter. Sometimes when we submit a TAC case for Cisco Webex Meetings, the TAC case gets bounced around before a support individual is able to help with the issue we're experiencing. In a lot of cases, this results in us not being able to reproduce the issue to understand why it may have happened in the first place and how we can prevent it in the future.

Using Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is very easy to use, and is also intuitive, which requires less training from our internal IT teams. This results in an excellent end-user experience for new users. Cisco Webex Meetings also continues to add new features and functionality as well as security measures on a monthly cadence which keeps the service fresh.

Webex Meetings Reliability

There are not a lot of wide spread Cisco Webex Meetings outages. I believe Cisco has built in a very redundant infrastructure for Cisco Webex Meetings. However, that does not mean that outages do not happen. In our experience, when an outage does occur, it is usually for only a specific global region, or Cisco Webex Meetings feature and not the Cisco Webex Meetings service as a whole.
