Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

ClickUp has been great in terms of a visual project management tool at our agency. Using previous tools such as Asana, and Trello I think ClickUp provides the best UI look and usability. My favourite way to use ClickUp is to manage multiple streams of projects with my clients. A simple sheet of tasks to complete, alongside with subtasks, tagging them in comments makes it so much easier. It's now a preference for me to do implementation/executional work via ClickUp rather than email threads. Sometimes it's too easy to lose an email thread, or someone replies on an older email leaving some vital information out. The team also uses it to keep very high account management hygiene and run meeting agendas alongside. Instead of having multiple google sheets, or other means of meeting agendas, we've all incorporated these items into ClickUp, sorted by client. It's super easy to share screen on client meetings and to walk them through the actionable items. Not to mention being able to add attachments/documents makes it extremely easy to have all pieces of information in one place.
  • Project management
  • Allowing external users to join in
  • Ability to attach documents and attachments into threads
  • Satisfying tool to use as a to-do list and tick items off
  • Demo templates
  • Automation tutorials
  • Subtask within a subtask
  • Efficiency in implementation
  • Clearer client meetings (neat agenda)
  • Client is able to add agenda items themselves as well
Our agency has not used ClickUp for brainstorming purposes per se just yet.

Collaborating however has been very efficient and communicating with others within the tasks has been also excellent.
It has been a great experience to automate a lot of the tasks, especially from multiple client meeting lists, we were able to automate them to be assigned to the right team and into the right lists internally.
ClickUp's UI/UX is much better than the ones that we have tried in the past. Asana on one hand was very much a single to-do list, with limited capabilities on the free version as well. Trello we felt was rather messy, the number of cards we would potentially see if the agency tried to adopt Trello would be a nightmare.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

It's been great for implementation between the team and the client, we can simply make threads and tasks to show updates on status. tagging and commenting on the threads to ensure the client is across changes, or if we require the client to action something. Tasks can be assigned to certain people on the ClickUp easily, with a due date and time or whether it's a reoccurring task. Places, where it's less suitable, is perhaps during creative instruction and implementation. This is currently still being done via a spreadsheet to have an overall 1 place to look at for information.
