Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight
We use this tool in several ways. First as a research and data gather tool to give us insights on where to focus client strategies. We also use it as a performance measuring tool, reporting monthly ranking reports to the clients.
It is used by multiple departments - Account Management, Content, SEO and Sales.
It addresses the need to be able to deep dive into the specifics of client performance, especially addressing the 'not set' keywords from Google.

- I think their support team is very responsive and goes beyond answering the question asked, looking at the account holistically.
- The customer satisfaction team that does monthly calls and troubleshooting on the agency level is well versed in the product and really focuses on how to customize it for use cases specific or unique to our agency set up.
- There are issues with the Bing integration into the tool, and having to look at those results off line in a monthly report is challenging both for internal staff as well as clients.
- Being able to create customized workspaces and have them sent out at your preferred schedule helps different teams keep relevant info top of mind.
- We underestimated the work it would take to integrate it into our existing systems/processes
- We can answer more specific client questions about performance and/or competitors
As with many vertical specific tools, all of those above have strengths in some areas, weaknesses in others. For us, we continue to use them for specific things, but the day to day monitoring and strategy planning comes from Conductor.
