Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

We use ConnectWise to both connect to machines at client offices when they are there or when they are not at their computers. This gives me access to their machine(s) to update data on their software. Because we can access when needed this makes everything so much easier for the client as well as for my organization. Access like this is needed on demand.
  • Ease of installing software to connect at a later time to PCs / Servers at client sites.
  • Ease to create a web connect session to help on the fly. i.e. sending the email invite to the customer to have a connection on the fly.
  • The ease of creating future training/reviews. Allowing you create a future event and invite the people as needed.
  • Support is done via chat. For the most part this is helpful. But there are times when speaking with someone direct would be easier.
  • Notification on when billing will be done.
  • While the software version on each PC is displayed I am still unclear how to update those.
  • Ease of use.
  • Access to multiple machines with stored access. Seems to have increased on the number available.
Price hands down matters. The price point with ConnectWise vs its competitors seems to point to ConnectWise as being the best value.
It is easy to learn and install. It was easy to use with various other PC's to connect to my machines and other machines. It was easy on the point and click to upload and download various files. Using it for support was easy to speak with the client on the phone while moving around on their machine with them watching and at times to blank the screen so that the end user didn't see code or all of what I was doing. It was also easy to share my screen to show others work that was done or showing a demonstration of work.

Overall, the software is easy to use and to get around to using. While I believe that there is another software package that does the same basic principles, however, the price difference is huge! The price is so much higher for the other that the differences fade away easily to me.
