Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
We really like the speed of connecting with ConnectWise Control. We have it also set up for our break-fix clients to connect to instead of using LogMeIn Rescue. We are now saving that monthly on LogMeIn and are able to help ALL of our clients and use it as a marketing tool to bring in new clients. We also provide corporate IT the ability to use it when they have only our monitoring services. It just seems to work all the time! If you are not using ConnectWise Control to connect to your clients' systems securely and quickly then you need to get it!
- ConnectWise Control is the fastest way to login to a remote workstation. It maintains a stable connection with the unit also. And clients don't like to wait!
- We are very security aware and since we can use encrypted remote access this gives our client more confidence in our abilities in securing their network.
- The best is running remote commands without having to log in to the computer! We can run a GP update and more without having to interrupt the user by logging in. It is just easy!
- We hope they will improve MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) as it does currently have a basic but we would like to see that improve.
- I checked with all the other engineers and they can't think of anything else that they think needs improved or added. We all love it!
- We were able to drop our monthly LogMeIn Rescue account and save that money each month!
- We have used it to sell maintenance and monitoring to internal IT folks so they don't have to walk thru their buildings to help their users anymore. They have secure remote access without having to set up RDP to the users.
- The biggest is pushing out commands without interrupting the end users! As long as a reboot is not required then we can speed thru without having to explain to end users what we are doing!!
I really did like a lot of the features in LogMeIn Rescue but when I can save some money and use it for company events etc, that is a win!! Labtech replaced what was Zenith info tech so it has been at least 10 years since we switched. Now that I have a dedicated engineer for all the scripting etc., our life is so much better! We have looked at other RMM tools but they all need personal configuration.
