Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand
We are currently utilizing Cornerstone for our field/Operations employees to replace some of the on-site SME led annual safety training. This allows us to put a portion of the training in the hands of the front-line leaders, thus allowing them to dictate when the training occurs (when it is most convenient for them and their teams). In the near future, we will be rolling this platform out to our entire organization as we begin to broaden our approach to training and personal development.
- Cornerstone is a very robust system with many many functions built within it. It allows for almost unlimited future growth.
- When reviewing an LMS Platform, the content that was available became one of the key points of the selection process. Cornerstone's content library is not only incredibly large but also very diverse and well rounded. As we complete the integration of the system, we will be looking to them as one of the potential content providers we may choose to partner with.
- We are new to the LMS game and are a small/medium-sized company, with a largely blue collar workforce. Although Cornerstone is a very robust platform, we have struggled at times to create a system that will work for our needs (instructor-led, remote learning, and a simple user interface).
- It has been difficult at times to solicit feedback when we have a problem/question with the system. Although there is a portal to log incidents, I personally would prefer a much more immediate response (phone, chat, etc.). If that functionality currently exists, I have not been able to identify it.
- Administrator and User training is not easy, which I find ironic from a company that is focused on Learning Management. As part of our implementation, we quickly realized that we were tasked with creating any user interface training, in addition to any specific Admin. training that may be needed. Cornerstone has a very significant "help" platform, but it is very easy to get confused, as the answers tend to be very vanilla

We essentially had these 3 providers in a dead heat in regards to their performance. We ultimately ended up choosing Cornerstone largely on the ability for the platform to grow with as, as well as the packaged content that they provide (which we could add at a later date).
