Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Abstract Management

I have used Cvent Abstract Management (CAM) for about five years. It is used primarily for the call for proposal process for our annual conference. Cvent Abstract Management also collects speaker information, including speaker bios and headshots. It provides a central location to collect, review and accept/reject proposals. Scheduling sessions and adding speakers to the linked event is can be done with ease.
  • Collects speaker information - bios, headshots, etc.
  • Schedules sessions to the linked event
  • Customized submission forms
  • Need for transferability of customized fields to linked event
  • Most information collected links directly to the event
  • Speakers enter their own contact information
  • Session titles and descriptions are added to the system by the speaker, not the planner
  • allows for multiple reviewers to rate proposals simultaneously, therefore reducing the review process
