Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Deputy is used by each employee across the whole organization.

We use it to make sure employees arrive on time and clock in & out from their job location.
It is both a tool to verify and record all their hours as well as a tool to make sure they clock in and clock out from our client's premises and not from home or elsewhere.
I also use it to record that they are Covid free at the beginning of their shift.
I am going to implement a questionnaire at the end of their shift as well to have them state that they took all their legal breaks.
  • Presentation and accessibility as an administrator.
  • Accuracy of clocking and clocking out hours.
  • Easy to use for our employees.
  • I would LOVE LOVE for employees not to be able to clock in (and clock out) when they are outside a certain perimeter, like 30 feet from Client's location.
  • Sometimes the "approve timesheet" page is bugging and is very slow when I check on EE hours weekly.
  • The New deputy interface to add a new employees is bugging on my browser (Dissenter).
  • Make Deputy work well on this browser: Dissenter.
  • It has helped us make sure all shifts are filled in.
  • Time saving as one page recaps it all for the week.
  • It is also helping us save some info like emergency contact.
  • Great tool to go back a few months or years earlier when we need to verify where / when a previous employee worked.

Very easy to use both as an admin but also for the staff.
It was very easy to implement and understand for all employees.
Very appropriate to record time keeping and make sure people showed up at work as scheduled.
Not appropriate to prevent staff from clocking in - thus starting to get paid - far away from their supposed work location. Also I wish they would not be able to clock in at any time but only a few minutes before their shift starts.
