Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
We utilize Deputy for all scheduling and time sheet reporting by college student Peer Mentors working across 13 campuses in 5 different states. Deputy provides a fully digital scheduling and payroll time tracking system via their mobile app that has been adopted by our college student workforce with great ease and simplicity. Deputy provides supervisors the ability to quickly react to schedule changes and fill shifts with notifications sent via the mobile app to all employees. The auto scheduling feature saves significant amounts of time by analyzing shift coverage needs against employee availability to create schedules with ease rather than a tedious manual puzzle of assigning employees to shifts.

- Accurate time tracking of worked hours based on clock in and out by employees.
- Provides detailed cumulative hours and cost on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep us on budget.
- Time sheets import seamlessly into payroll processing via ADP.
- Allows employees to swap shifts and/or cover open shifts easily with little involvement by supervisors.
Cons
- Would like to see expansion of services into HR related areas such as employee hiring and on-boarding features.
- Would like to see greater customization options for viewing schedules and setting specific hours of operation.
- Expansion of roles beyond just Manager and Supervisor to allow select individuals access to create shifts and approve time sheets.
- Deputy has transformed us to a fully digital time tracking and payroll processing company saving countless hours with data entry.
- Deputy has provided data at our fingertips to analyze how staff hours are utilized.
- Deputy prepared us for the remote workforce world long before shutdowns began likely enabling our operations to continue without significant impact.

Deputy provided us with the most robust cost effective tool for scheduling and time reporting built exclusively around a mobile app. The seamless import capability to ADP Payroll processing made it the complete package.

We did not purchase premium support, I wasn't aware that there was a separate level for support.
Yes - Yes, support was excellent at following up with us to ensure the issue was corrected and we were not continuing to have problems.
There are many times Deputy provided exceptional support. We needed a Location to have specific settings different from other locations, customer support was able to customize the settings quickly. I often compare other software companies support to Deputy as my highest standard. I am always impressed with the level of knowledge of their support staff. There is always someone answering the Chat very quickly, many other vendors provide a Chat with no response at all.
