Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We use Deputy across the whole operation to schedule and manage our team.
  • Scheduling.
  • Timesheets.
  • Tracking staff logins.
  • Entering sales & forecasts manually if not using a supported POS.
  • Reporting is lacking it would be good to see total costs currently it split between salary & hourly also to be able to check on how much tax/super/leave is being spent each week.
  • None that we have noticed it has just made scheduling easier.

It does the basics well but as stated before reporting is limited and HR onboarding has not always been reliable for us.
It took a while to understand the ins and outs of Deputy. This could have been avoided if we had some assistance when setting up.
For us it works very well for scheduling but for reporting we are relying on Xero, and if Xero offered the same scheduling and staff login management/tracking we would no longer need to use Deputy.
