Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Talk

We use Dialpad Talk for our mainline phone number, utilizing the group calling (departments) along with direct lines for each user. Spam calls have greatly been reduced thanks to the auto attendant that sorts calls to our (3) ring groups and we can call and message customers which is great from a service standpoint (sometimes our customers are out in the field and cannot get to a computer to email photos of broken items. Our last system was an analog system with one or two lines with no auto attendant or other smart features.
  • Easy management of open/close hours and rules for what happens when someone calls when you are open/closed.
  • Easy management of ring groups/departments and users.
  • Easy management of missed calls, voicemails and recorded calls for quality of calls.
  • Voicemail Transcription: the text is not very accurate, there is Ai moments where you can turn that on, but I'm not sure if you want to turn that on from a Privacy standpoint. Just seems like another data logging avenue that is not very private/secure.
  • Transferring Calls: It seems spotty with phone transfer calls, we may not have the ability to transfer outside of the dialpad users anymore (so to someones cellphone that is not a dialpad user). We used to have that capability.
  • Phone Line Extensions: there could be a great growth opportunity there to organize extensions, especially when you just have a company mainline and no direct lines.
  • Auto Attendant
  • Ring Groups (Department)
  • Call Waiting with Music (we have the county/folk song about people being on the phone waiting lol)
  • Integrations: The integration with HubSpot has been awesome as that is our main CRM. Having the call info there in the customer/company profile has been a great addition. This helps us be on the same page as a team.
  • Moving from an Analog system, this has brought better customer service, having better voicemail systems, messaging, call holding and seeing missed calls helped us connect better with customers.
We didn't really evaluate softphone options before using Dialpad Talk, we've mostly evaluated different products as we became more knowledgeable on how softphone systems work to compare our current system. We did evaluate VOIP systems and was looking into buying a lot of hardware with a big upfront cost. But decided to try this out first with less upfront costs.

Do you think Dialpad Ai Voice delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dialpad Ai Voice's feature set?

Yes

Did Dialpad Ai Voice live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Dialpad Ai Voice go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dialpad Ai Voice again?

Yes

Dialpad Talk is great for small to medium businesses. There are some call monitoring, coaching, call centers and what not that I'm not familiar with. The cost is the main factor as there are some different softphone systems that might be better price wise for less functionality (though a lot of companies have the same standard functionaries like ring groups, auto attendants, etc).
