Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud
This is the second company I have onboarded with DRUVA. We utilize their M365 backup suite, Phoenix Server backup platform, and InSync Endpoint client. I have always worked for companies with a presence in rural areas. More times than not, these locations don't have massive internet pipes, and small comms closets with maybe a server or two. This can be a problem when looking for a backup solution, as any backups would have to ride over the circuits we need to operate. After researching costs and benefits of staying on-prem and backing up our data, it was determined that our best route would be to lift our few remaining servers to Azure, get everyone on M365, and then bring DRUVA onboard. That is exactly what we did. DRUVA's cloud-based infrastructure lets me backup all of our M365 data and our Azure hosted servers without having to worry about our circuits being pegged during those backup jobs, and my IT audits go a lot better when I can tell them I have off-site backups for disaster recovery scenarios, and can show them all the data pools in an instance. The cherry on top is Druva's interface. I can manage mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, Server data, and Endpoint (desktop PC) data from a single site. The restore process is the easiest interface I've used in almost 25 years of I.T. work. I am beyond impressed with their setup.
- User interface is clean and concise.
- Setting up backups for VMWare was very easy.
- DRUVA support gets back to me within hours 99% of the time.
- I have caught a few typos in their documentation, but the article itself still gave me the intended result.
- Their sizing model can be a bit tough to estimate due to their use of credits.
- Total time saver being all in one management console.
- User self-service recovery save I.T. resources to focus on bigger issues.
- Their de-duplication algorithm is top notch. It saves time and money.
We currently use Druva to backup Exchange Online Mailboxes, OneDrive files, SharePoint sites, vSphere servers, and multiple desktop computers in our company. It handles everything we have thrown at it so far, and managing all of those data sets in a single pane of glass style interface allows us to quickly view our data protections status.
Druva was the cost leader during our search for a cloud-native backup solution. We were pleasantly surprised with its speed and ease of use as well. We feel it was the best fit for our infrastructure.
