Exclaimer Signature Manager Exchange

Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer

The company is a startup and doesn't have much branding in the space. We used it on most of the customer facing team members so that we can present a uniform signature to strengthen the brand image. We used to have many different formats of email signature and the inconsistency may not present a very well message. We also include our social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) so that we can increase the traffic to those pages. In addition, the email signature includes our tag line and any campaign we are running. The marketing manager would like to have control of the message and tag line for all members instead of having individual person to update it every time we want to change it.
  • Include links to our social media pages
  • Allows consistent format of signatures across the users
  • Update once for all
  • It doubles up the signature in certain cases, not sure when and why
  • It sends multiple images as attachment when the users send it over the phone
  • It doesn't log into Salesforce.com very well
  • The contract is at least 12 months
  • Time saved
  • Uniform signature
It took a long time to set up as we experienced quite a lot of issues when we first rolled out to a few users. We had to stop and fix it before continuing. After we rolled out to all the users, some still experienced unknown issues. For example, it doubles itself when some members send an email. Also, some members end up having many images attachments in the email.
No we didn't. We only have one template for all. Also, we only use it for 2 months and the marketing manager left the company. It leaves us paying the service but not actively making use of all the feature for another 10 months.
We didn't use or evaluate it with other products

No

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Exclaimer again?

No

If you have a marketing manager who is running campaigns all the time, this would be very well suited as it allows the changes to be updated once for all. If the marketing member also knows IT well enough to address the technical issues, it will be more well received. However, in our case, the marketing manager initiated but ended up leaving the company a few months later, the signature management isn't very well suited any more as we are locked in for at least 12 months contract but it's not being used to its full potential.
