Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong to listen to calls, demos, and interactions with customers for our teams. We also use it to look at the deal board and determine if enough interaction has taken place if the opportunity is single-threaded or stale and so on.
  • Call recording w/ AI technology
  • Deal board tracking w/ activity tracking attached
  • Keeps a library of what good looks like
  • Allowing more customization on the deal boards so they reflect what we use in Salesforce too.
  • Capturing inbound calls too
  • Capturing demos, even if they are not pre-scheduled
  • Significant time savings for managers to target areas of calls to listen to.
  • Alignment between SDRs and AEs especially in onboarding

I love Gong for the call coaching abilities, especially with speeding up calls, call timing tagged in each call, and AI technology use of trackers. I don't love how the deal board is set up for months rather than quarters and to customize you have to change the views every time. There doesn't seem to be a good way to save the view you want to return to a lot.
