Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

Gong.io is utilized to record all of our discovery calls, meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with prospects and customers. The recordings come from previously scheduled virtual events with external people outside the organization and we receive the recording after the meeting concludes. This gives the sales team all the information that they need for recapping the call.
  • Identifying key words during the call.
  • Setting up action items post call.
  • Automated message when recorder kicks on.
  • Sometimes does not attach to every call.
  • Sales pipeline management.
  • Competitive intel (other vendors that may be getting evaluated).
I am strictly a business user of Gong.io so I don't have much insight around what the support looks like from their side of things. However, the support from our sales team is that it is super helpful not only for recapping sales calls and determining the next steps but also for coaching and improvement purposes.

Gong.io is great for any in-depth and pre-scheduled meetings with external people outside of the company. Especially for those virtual calls with prospects and customers that are with either multiple people or cover a variety of topics, it is very useful to have the recording of the meeting for note-taking and recap purposes.
