Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

Gong.io is the engine that drives our sales team. We use it for pipeline reviews, call coaching, and to help us set quarterly OKRs. Sales meetings are automatically recorded, allowing for the sales team to focus on what's most important, the prospect/customers. Another helpful tip is that it allows us to share the recording with the prospect; this typically prevents us from having to perform multiple demos since the recording can be shared.
  • Automatically alerts reps of a pipeline at risk (i.e., haven't spoken to the prospect in 10 days, not multi-threaded, no next steps, etc.)
  • Automatically tracks call metrics for performance reviews (Call duration, interactions, topics, etc.)
  • Allows for easy call coaching; anyone can review a recorded call and insert feedback directly into the call notes for review.
  • When looking at the Deals tab, I've noticed it misses email interaction or even phone calls made via Hubspot. Thus it doesn't provide every bit of insight into a deal.
  • Easy identify deals that are at risk.
  • Call coaching.
  • Sharing call recordings with prospects.
  • We've become more effective in talk ratios, forecasting, and deal reviews.
I've used Clari at a previous organization, and Gong.io has a better UI and seems to capture more call performance metrics that help reps improve.
