Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

We are a small company and HubSpot is used in our marketing and sales functions. We use all of the modules and find that they integrate very well together. HubSpot is very effective for companies that have small or no marketing departments that need to easily and effectively run an integrated sales and marketing program.
  • The content optimization system is easy to use across all of the modules. There is the same look and feel across the entire platform.
  • The email system and auto-responders is easy to use.
  • It's easy to figure out how well your offers are pulling and what are the click throughs to forms being filled out.
  • Creating landing pages and calls to action is a breeze.
  • Pricing for HubSpot could become more transparent. It's hard to figure out what your cost is going to be when first signing up.
  • It would make sense for HubSpot to allow people to downgrade as well as upgrade their subscriptions during a contract year. In our case we bought professional and we wouldn't be ready to use the professional features for over a year. Instead we ended up paying about $6,000 more than we should while waiting for our contract year to end. We'll be staying a loyal and rapid fan, just with the basic and not the professional version until we need the professional functionality.
  • Increased employee efficiency.
  • Able to provide much more marketing impact for the time and effort spent.
  • Find people easily who can join our tribe.
  • WordPress,Infusionsoft
We don't do subscription services which is where Infusionsoft shines. We do marketing, social and web presence work. That is where HubSpot shines. We choose HubSpot because it solves our sales and marketing needs in both functionality and the amount of human cost it takes to run the system.
  • Email marketing
  • Lead nurturing
  • Lead scoring and grading
  • Landing pages
  • List segmentation
  • Integration with CRM system
  • Social marketing
  • SEO
  • Blogging
We already have been using HubSpot for 4 years and have invested a lot of time and effort into learning the system.
If you don't have the resources or are not willing to assign resources to make your marketing become an integrated whole, HubSpot might not be the product for you. If you want to have a marketing and sales presence that allows you to work across all types of platforms, both social and on your own website, this is a great product. The question you should ask is how will this software help my company get the right customers? How will this software help us manage our reputation?

In my own case, using HubSpot has helped us do both with far less effort than other options out there.
