Overall Satisfaction with Jira Work Management (Jira Core)
We switched from Phabricator to Jira for work management at the company (Standard Cognition). We use it to manage tasks and the work in the current and incoming quarters. It helps to keep visibility on the individual and team tasks which adds transparency to the workflow. We are currently in the transition towards managing code reviews. We still do not use it for financial as we keep using Expensify, I am not sure if there will be a switch or not.

- It has so much options that it is easy to get lost.

- It can be overkill for many simple task assignments.

- It helped us get rid of Phabricator which is not supported anymore and was hard to use.
- Easier for non-engineering people to use.

- Phabricator and Bitbucket
My main comparison would be towards Phabricator. Phabricator is a useful tool for task and software management, however, it is hard to use, even for people with an engineering background. For people without an engineering background it was totally not user-friendly. The problem with Phabricator is that it is not maintained anymore and the GUI was not user-friendly. Jira's interface is user-friendly and the non-engineer community adoption has been straightforward.
