Perfect for the small office or remote employee
Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
Our office uses Kofax Power PDF for all scanned documents, reviewing and highlighting documents, and sending and/or uploading documents to defense counsel or the court.
Pros
- Combining numerous .pdf documents.
- Reducing size of documents to email or upload.
- Integration with DocuSign for e-signatures.
- Highlighting records for review or in anticipation of depositions.
Cons
- Highlighter does not work 99% of the time, although the "highlight" area does.
- Mainly time saving.
- Ease of use.
- Very helpful when working remotely.
There is very little learning curve involved. This is my 3rd version; i.e. 2nd product upgrade so there was not much "new" to learn, but have found the features improved from version 3 to version 4, although we are still having issues with highlighting which still doesn't work more often than not.
Adobe. This is cheaper and more functional.
