Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
Litmus is used by a number of our internal teams. We use it to ensure that our emails have the best user experience for our customers across all types of email clients. Test emails are sent daily for every email that we send out, and when creating new email templates the design team uses it ensures that the template functions as expected.
- Ability to check multiple email clients
- Easy ability to send test emails into it
- Pick and choose which email clients are relevant for your purpose
- Could be more robust in what it can do
- Call out more clearly in the check list, which clients are having issues
- Improved UX
- Reduced template testing time
- Product limitations
We have not integrated with Litmus. We just send test emails to the provided email address so that we are able to see how our test emails perform in the different email clients. For that, we don't need to fully integrate our instance with Litmus, it's easier to just send those email that needs to be tested using send email function in Marketo.
Litmus has not helped us do that. We essentially just use Marketo for the design/UX experience testing while building emails and or the templates that we will be using. It does help to ensure that we are testing all the most popular email clients and even those that are not the most popular but still in use.
We all have access to our Litmus instance, which means that each of us can be sending test emails at the same time and not have any problem checking our own tests. There are times when test emails take forever to populate in Litmus, but still allows for multiple people in at the same time.
