Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor
LogicMonitor is being used by our datacenter team as well as network teams. We use LogicMonitor to address gaps in our tools and gain visibility that we didn't have before. We are able to solve bandwidth/network issues much faster and quicker through the data that LogicMonitor sits and gathers. We are also able to then use the historical data and use that for planned growth, etc.
- Great detail into systems that other vendors said couldn't be achieved
- Ability to generate useful reports!
- Portal is very easy to use
- Ability to tweak alerting globally or individually is a big perk!
- More pre-built dashboards would be nice
- Dashboards can be confusing to configure
- Alerts can cause fatigue if not properly tuned
- LogicMonitor has had a positive impact on our ROI through the time spent troubleshooting. Easier to troubleshoot with LogicMonitor!
LogicMonitor is much easier to configure and use than the other solutions we looked at. Very easy to customize and fit our environment. The others felt more rigid. LogicMonitor also fully integrates into our ticketing system so that was a very big plus. It has the ability to self-heal tickets.
We have LogicMonitor monitoring our cloud solutions in Azure as well as environments in other datacenters split geographically.
It's very easy to install the collector! The other products we looked at required several servers and extensive configurations. SaaS based was definitely a winner!
We were able to get rid of several vendor appliances that couldn't get us the detail we needed or if they could it lacked the ability for historical or reports. LM is able to do all of that and more. We no longer have to maintain these other appliances since this is SaaS based.
