Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

As simple as it gets! Create a blank document, drop some shapes on, connect them as you need, annotate as you see fit and your golden. We have been able to quickly and easily deliver most of our cloud layouts to management as well as partners and auditors using Lucidchart.
We use Lucidchart across our organization for various things. Within the technical silo its mainly used for technical documentation, network and cloud diagrams and general flow diagraming. At this point its become a large and critical part of our documentation process.

  • saved time and a lot of confusion, when architecting new product flows
We are still dipping our toes in the pool with integrations but we have integrated our GSuite account to help get everyone onboard and access to our documents. We are working on a slack integration to facilitate document sharing and notifications across the organization and considering a Github integration to tie together a few of the other pieces we use.
I have not really needed support yet which is usually a good sign that the support team has helped drive the issue out of the product all together.

I come from a mostly [Microsoft] Visio and Powerpoint background and can safely say that Lucidchart blows them both out of the water. The ease of use, cloud nature of operation, imagery, and sharing capabilities cut my work time down, enhance my end product and allow me to deliver what I need when I need to deliver it. I can't think of a reason that I would ever go back to either of my previous options.
I personally love Lucidchart for flow diagrams and cloud architecture layouts. It has become a critical tool for my work in designing our cloud infrastructure and being able to easily convey how that infrastructure works and is ultimately laid out. Once we have landed on our layouts we then pivot to use it for pre-code flow diagraming and general thought layouts. There is very little that Lucidchart does not do really well!
