Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

Lucidspark is very collaborative and friendly in the firm and is used for various brainstorming sessions, curation of ideas, and market research. The platform is used across different departments of design expertise and helps in sorting out creative blocks, client needs, and user research synthesis. Templates and different tools provided in the same are being utilised for user-friendly client presentations as well.
  • Sorting of category wise ideations.
  • Colour coding notes and information.
  • User friendly collaboration with teammates across boards.
  • Dots in background are large enough to distract the user while zooming on boards.
  • File size limit can be extended for free version for the user to test it to understand its potential.
  • Lack of user friendly desktop application.
  • Increased quality of exported boards.
  • Convenient sorting of collected information.
  • Lack of space when involving large file size brainstorm curators.
Lucidspark can evolve the UI aesthetics so that the users are not distracted by it. It is an efficient tool with creative templates which helps one to kick off their projects. Even though it lacks a desktop application with efficient integration capabilities, it is advisable to use Lucidspark for research sectors and collaborations regardless of the location of the teammates with its effective browser interface.
Integrations with tools like Slack, google drive helps in efficient communication across departments. This not only helps in remote working conditions but also gives the firm an opportunity to explore different possibilities in team building. Transferring data without integration is also very convenient through its good-quality exporting features. Integration across platforms helped in making the time and material more feasible.
Collaborative teamwork is very convenient for Lucidspark and has a good response mail system as well to keep the teammates updated throughout the process. Personally, Lucidspark is a potential whiteboard collaborative to mark as an alternative for other platforms like Miro, FigJam, etc. It can create a great impact on learning users and individuals involved in real-time collaborations, remote team building, and research synthesis.
It is efficient enough to execute the workflow and lacks only a few convenience requirements. It is easily recommended to any user due to its optimised templates and tools where the size limit is only interfering with the work process for new users to test it. It is also a potential platform to work with a team to get very good real-time responses.

Yes

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

No

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

No

It is a very accessible and wide range of tools to help kick-off any projects and brainstorming sessions. It is user-friendly in terms of content sorting and collaborative ideations. It is also loaded with good quality export options and colours for a very practical client presentation and team understanding of the content across boards.
Lucidspark comes in handy when other collaborative alternatives become less optimised for desktop use. It is well suited for sorting large number of ideation categories with varied colours through its creative templates and tools. It becomes less suitable when involving a good integration with other applications and introduce to new users due to size limitations and UI.
