Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
We started using Teams internally with the IT department in order to collaborate and communicate about upcoming projects. Since Microsoft began putting a lot of attention into the product, we saw it as an opportunity to use across the company within departments and teams. Right now we are continuing to evaluate Teams as a possible replacement for another chat/softphone application. It seems that Teams is becoming more integrated with many common phone systems; if that continues to be the case, it will likely become more easily adopted for us.
- Chat.
- File-sharing.
- Calendar integration - easier to sync with Outlook calendars especially in channels using Planner.
- Spell-check performance - seems to be a significant delay in the time it takes for spell-check to register.
- Less time spent with back and forth emailing on specific topics.
- Fewer hours spent managing document permissions and versions.
