Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
The main aim of Microsoft Teams is to connect staff and enhance collaboration. It has provided an alternative to email communications. I think this is a digital transformation of an office space. It has provided a safe space for our company communication, which provides many options for sharing documents, files, etc. Before this our organization was using emails or general messaging applications which has many limitations and some fear of breach too. In our organization every department has their own Teams account and it is controlled by their heads, so there is no fear of collision between them.
- The best part of Microsoft Teams is that they keep all records of conversation within the meetings. So there is no need to use any screen recorders or any other application to record the chats, whether you are one on one or you are with a group.
- The command box which is used to search anything within Microsoft Teams is very useful. You don't need to navigate all chats, you just have to search for the name in the command box and it will show you that.
- It doesn't have a group calendar option, which is pretty annoying.
- I have found that the permission settings are pretty confusing.
- A key factor for Microsoft Teams is that it works inside of the Office 365 productivity suite which saves lots of money.
- Most of our clients use Office 365 which help us to work with them more easily and excellently.
