Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
We use Microsoft Teams as our primary collaboration and communications platform with various departments of the company. It is also used for building teams' documents and providing a centralized location for document repository and a bridge to the Microsoft SharePoint document repository.
- Collaboration Tool for chat service
- Collaboration tool for Virtual meeting rooms and virtual video conduct meetings
- Use as a primary desk phone call within the organization and also outside the organization (vendors such as Microsoft).
- Provide better call quality on cellular network
- Facial recognition when speaking with zooming in on the person capabilities.
- Integrate better virtual whiteboard capabilities such as sticky notes for Scrum meetings as an example.
- Chat service
- Video Calls
- Able to share and upload documents during a live meeting sessions with 100s joined.
- Provide a 30 to 1hr response time from the IT Help Desk on non-critical situations via Chat compared to 7 business days with a ticket created via the online system.
- Provide side conversations with the Help Desk team once the ticket is assigned and collaboration could start with a video call instantly. This provides a better User Experience within the organization's response time and saves costs for calls coming into the Help Desk queues.
- Zoom and HCL Sametime (formerly from IBM)
Moving to Microsoft Teams from IBM Sametime chat services provided Intact a great ahead into the productivity and response times for both internal and external customers/brokers. Sametime doesn't have the capability to make voice calls from either a desktop or a mobile app instantly. This feature provided Intact with cost savings by eliminating desk phones (Avaya) for various teams intact.
