Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is being used by various departments within the organization for various kinds of work and workshop sessions, most especially in this period when the COVID pandemic resulted in remote work from home arrangement. Some kinds of works that Miro has been used to do across business areas include service blueprinting, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, etc.
  • Service Design: During a service design session for permit and licensing improvement in the organization. Miro was used for the workshops to develop the current state service blueprint and future state service blueprint. This was very helpful to collaborate with 20+ stakeholders working from various locations.
  • Strategy Development: During a strategy development session that required extensive cross-departmental collaboration with numerous business areas in an ideation session. Miro enabled the participatory development efforts.
  • Presentation: The presence of frames within Miro reduces the duplicate work of creating a presentation slide after various project engagement sessions to the leadership team. It has been particularly helpful being able to present directly from Miro in various meetings, as opposed to exporting the data and creating a Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slide presentation deck.
  • Ability to integrate with organization contact and email infrastructure, so that individuals can be tagged and receive a real-time notification.
  • Functionalities for computations, charts, graphs, and reporting within Miro.
  • The ability for more export formats in Miro.
  • Miro has enabled us to improve productivity in the delivery of project deliverables in this temporarily remote work arrangement. Considering the organization's goal of for hybrid work arrangement. Miro will see enable productivity in our projects.
  • Miro has reduced project time expended in digitizing project information captured during our project workshop sessions. We no longer have to take pictures of sticky notes and type them out. By leveraging the capabilities of Miro, we already have the project information in a digital format.
  • Miro has increased the efficiency of our design project meetings, by enabling numerous stakeholders to collaborate in the same workspace at the very same time.
The implementation was excellent. Our project team piloted Miro in one of our business initiatives that required service design. It was very easy to understand and the learning curve to start using Miro was not steep. For irst-time Miro users in our team, were able to easily navigate Miro with little or no explanation on how to use it.
I'm not very conversant about the depth of integrations that Miro is capable of doing. However, I was glad that I didn't have to create a separate Miro login account to use it. Our organization uses Google enterprise solution, with my organizational login credential, I was able to get into Miro with the same login credential.
My team does a lot of projects that warrant numerous workshop sessions. The COVID pandemic resulted in a remote work-from-home arrangement. Hence it was imperative that we found an effective tool to conduct our workshops that mostly has a minimum of 15 participants. Miro's online whiteboard revolutionized our collaboration abilities in workshops and I still see it as an effective tool we will keep using in the post-pandemic era.

Both Miro and Figma are excellent visual collaboration platforms. They are both user-friendly and offer a great User interface. However, Miro stands out because of its flexibility and its multiple features and functionalities. For instance, working with frames in Miro is much easier and being able to give presentations directly from Miro.
Google Jamboard, MURAL (formerly Mural.ly), Figma
One of the best online whiteboard, collaboration, and presentation platforms I have used. It has a whole lot of features and it is very user-friendly and intuitive to use. It also offers capabilities for integration with other applications and services, most especially in organizations with various business units and functions.
