Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it to create diagrams and make retros and do brainstorming. In that regard, Miro works great! The not so good: Some drag and drop functionalities like moving text boxes are not easy, one has to change the size of the box to move it (or is not clear how to do it easily), also there is no markdown support.
  • Easy diagraming.
  • Quick setup.
  • Intuitive and simple.
  • Drag and drop is clunky (needs to change the tool).
  • Arrow path are sometimes colliding, obfuscating the diagrams.
  • No markdown for text.
  • Improved productivity online.
  • Self documenting processes.
Not really, it works just fine in our company. The only issue is that the permissions let accidentally share diagrams with more people than intended.
We don't integrate Miro with more than our LDAP as far as I know.
This has been crucial in the pandemic era and remote work. I think we would not go back to physical boards even after we go back to the office since miro leaves the diagrams saved and is easy to go back to them and edit. It has also been an excellent tool for recruiting new personnel.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I find that draw.io is better for some technical diagrams and it has more extensions that are useful for engineers. It also lets export diagrams as text files which can be used in source control systems.
