Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to facilitate big planning events where my team members are spread in all geographical locations. We have 4 big work planning events in a year. These events allow us to plan the incremental work our IT teams deliver for our businesses. Using Miro allows us to run these sessions seamlessly. Prior to the pandemic, we would have pertinent members from around the world travel in to collaborate in person in a big room. There will be tons of sticky notes and charts on the wall as our teams collaborate and plan for the work. This Miro tool has allowed us to do everything remotely and still achieve the tangible outputs of such a planning event. We are very happy with the tool so far and with how the pandemic is shaping out, I see more adoption of it into the future.
  • Collaboration facilitated by sticky notes.
  • Pre built templates.
  • Integration with Azure dev ops.
  • Ability to handle hundreds of contributors.
  • Challenging locking items on the board.
  • A lot of repetitive clicks around some actions that can probably be streamlined or automated.
  • More robust recovery feature so you don't lost work.
  • Clearly identifies the work ahead for the teams.
  • Facilitates an experience that closely resemblance in person meetings.
No, our Miro implementation was pretty much OOTB. I think the tool itself without any sort of customization is pretty powerful. The only enhancement to my knowledge is building the SSO login to make the transition from our internal apps to Miro that much simpler.
It's very seamless for us. We use our network login to log into Miro without a hitch.
It totally transformed it. The tool has provided a lot of unity among our teams to collaborate despite the COVID environment. We have not seen a drop in productivity in which we conduct our business because of the tool.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is the only one evaluated to my knowledge.
I highly recommend this tool for global organizations that have teams spread around the world and in the world that we live in now seeks to continue to enrich the collaboration on complex programs. It's less appropriate for smaller companies that do not need multiple days of in-depth collaboration for their planning.
