Overall Satisfaction with Miro

With the move to remote working, it was difficult to replace the technical whiteboarding sessions with different technical staff members all putting their thoughts/ideas up on the board and debating the merits or technical aspects. Miro has brought a digital space when combined with a video conferencing platform (we use MS Teams) that can begin to simulate this experience. Honestly, it is not the same as everyone being in the same room but it does provide a good way to do this.
  • Easy collaboration between large numbers of staff using the same digital space
  • Miro provides lots of templates with various ideas on how to get started with different topics/data
  • Easy to get started and onboard staff to use it
  • Great support from both the customer success and technical support sides
  • Integration with video conferencing platforms works but is limited. Most staff are still opening Miro in a separate web browser
  • Auditing and Logging is limited
  • Improved communications
The Miro staff was very helpful during both the pre-sales and implementation services
There are integrations with video conferencing solutions and they are pretty easy to enable.
It has provided a single place to collect all information and plans

Microsoft Teams, VMware Horizon, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
The newer templates are a great place to start with ideas on how to set up a whiteboard to maximize the team's effectiveness around the topic. They also provide ideas for other ways to use Miro to gather ideas and formulate plans. Miro has been very helpful in planning sessions to gather ideas from lots of staff and then begin to formulate the strategy.
