Overall Satisfaction with Miro
With the move to remote working, it was difficult to replace the technical whiteboarding sessions with different technical staff members all putting their thoughts/ideas up on the board and debating the merits or technical aspects. Miro has brought a digital space when combined with a video conferencing platform (we use MS Teams) that can begin to simulate this experience. Honestly, it is not the same as everyone being in the same room but it does provide a good way to do this.
Pros
- Easy collaboration between large numbers of staff using the same digital space
- Miro provides lots of templates with various ideas on how to get started with different topics/data
- Easy to get started and onboard staff to use it
- Great support from both the customer success and technical support sides
Cons
- Integration with video conferencing platforms works but is limited. Most staff are still opening Miro in a separate web browser
- Auditing and Logging is limited
- Improved communications
It has provided a single place to collect all information and plans
