Solid collaboration tool
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to collaborate with my teams remotely.
There are three key use-cases.
1. A place where I can put creative and seek feedback and capture that feedback for record.
2. A place where cross-functional teams can ideate freely capturing free flowing ideas.
3. A repository where I can go back to a project and see the path that we have traveled.

Pros
- Multiple people can get in there an work together at the same time.
- It is pretty flexible. The templates are optional, but I like the "white board" approach.
- I can usually drop presentations in there effortlessly for reference. PDF, PPT, etc.
Cons
- There are some size limitations. A board can get bogged down with too much data
- It is tough to understand scale. With a white board there are scale references. The room, the size of a human, the size of a marker are all size references. In Miro, I don't know if the size I'm working in is the size of a mouse or a giant. Sometimes I'll get in there and realize that I'm working in 64 pt type and I'm not sure how I built the board that big.
- I think that teams are able to collaborate much more effectively.
- I have even used it on occasion to sort out my thoughts out personally using the same tools.
Miro has done a great job uniting teams in different locations, both internally and externally. I think it also provides space to explore on your own which is a benefit.
