Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for two things; holding remote workshops so everyone can leave post its and also as a workspace for myself as I go through the design process (journey maps, service blueprints, screen flows, etc.) to collect everything in one area everyone can access, leave notes, reference, check in.
  • Provides elements you can interact with easily
  • Everyone can check in on their own
  • Searching in a page is easy
  • ALWAYS UPDATING/ BUFFERING!
  • Never know how large to make things like you have a shape but then it is huge and you need to make the text huge every time
  • Not a lot of good templates
  • Allowed us to collaborate in this new remote world
  • Easy to reference old boards and find information easily
  • If I need it to look nice or complex I use another program Miro is kinda limited that way
It was already implemented when I joined.
Well when covid hit we were just stuck for a while, not knowing what to do . We had to learn how to collaborate remotely and it works so well we're not going back. I feel comfortable inviting leadership who might be older to access a board, look at a board, interact with a board.
Well Figma is just better for designing, it looks nicer, you can do more different things, there are better templates, you can export more easily.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Its hard to save things to the board and take things from the board, like exporting is hard. If you put an image on the board it kind of just lives there forever, you're not going to use the exports for anything important. Miro is great for bringing people together to collaborate. People don't need a lot of knowledge.

Using Miro

Its easy except for the sizing. Like you make a box and then you go to add text and the box is absolutely huge then it's hard to resize.
