Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com as a production schedule for which jobs we have coming up, and which parts of the job that we have completed, or will be completing. All of our office employees have access, so we can all work together to keep the flow of our jobs on track.
  • Easy to organize the jobs we are working by color.
  • Navigation is user-friendly.
  • Simple way to invite new users or employees to the workspaces.
  • Schedule organization couldn't be any better!
  • Make a way to go to a true full screen view.
  • Don't automatically go to my inbox on startup.
  • Easier way to organize/shape rows and columns.
  • Everyone knows what to expect every week.
  • Our jobs and workflow are easier to set up.
  • All of our work has a deadline, which makes it easy to meet expectations.
  • We no longer waste time confused about which jobs are next.
I give this rating because monday.com really is user-friendly. I have no issues navigating to each production schedule, or work board that I need to get to. Also, having all of our office employees on the same page has been detrimental to making sure that all of us are always working on the correct tasks.
I have not personally used the customer support for monday.com, but with how good it is, I can only assume that the customer support would be phenomenal. We have had no issues with the software since using it, other than just learning the interface, so this software has been a huge positive asset for our company.
We have designed monday.com to suit our needs for production and upcoming jobs, and we have NEVER had any issues with setup. We have also never had any downtime with monday.com. It is always working as intended. I hope to continue to use this software throughout all of the work we will do in the future.

monday.com & Collaboration

Our company uses monday.com to make sure all team members are on the same page about the direction of workflow we are headed towards every day, week, and month. Real time updates from each team member, no matter where they are, keeps our schedules accurate and easy to make sure we are staying on task.
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the project management capabilities of monday.com at an eight out of ten. The project managers for each job can easily identify where their specific job is in production, and make changes if they feel it is necessary to make workflow more efficient.
I gave my rating on the project management capabilities an eight out of ten because everything just seems to work how it should. Our company has no issues with finding the information about our jobs and where they should be in production.

Using monday.com

6 - Our company has six different individuals that use monday.com at any given moment in the day. Three of those people are the owners of the company, as well as the project managers for there own respective jobs. Another is our purchasing agent, who needs to know what's coming up so we can order the correct materials for our jobs. Next is our shop foreman, who needs to keep our shop employees on task to complete our jobs on time. The fifth user is our in-house installation coordinator, who needs to make sure the jobs we produce make it to the jobsite on time. Finally, the sixth user is our programmer, who needs to make sure the shop employees have the correct jobs to produce in the correct production order.

  • Overall understanding of the work to be done
  • Time-Off Schedules
  • Having two separate schedules for two separate shops
  • Having a list for which vendors we have and there reputation with our company
  • Third shop production schedule capabilities
  • Timesheet trackers for each job
  • Alerts about emergency jobs
Our company will continue to renew and use this software because it has revolutionized the way we operate on a day to day basis. Before we started using this software, the confusion about which jobs we had on our schedules, and which ones needed to be done in what order, was an absolute nightmare. Now, it couldn't be easier to pull up where we are, and where we need to head next.

Evaluating monday.com and Competitors

  • Ease of Use
  • Other
Our company was missing an effective way to get our jobs organized, our production mapped out, and to have our office on the same page all in one place. We looked at several different options, and decided to try out this software over other competitors. We will not be using any other software, as this is exactly what we needed.
If we needed to find another software, our company would evaluate more in depth with many other software before making a decision on one and sticking with it. I believe trial periods, testing, and overall user interface would play a bigger factor in our decision, but from our minimal testing the first time around monday.com seemed to be what we were looking for.
