Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • It is not only a time saver, it has increased efficiency in our company tenfold. It allows me to set up boards that are both detailed and simple to look at. It allows our employees to input and receive all of the information they need to do their jobs effectively and is set up in a way that does not allow things to be forgotten or overlooked.
monday.com helps our company track projects between our photographers and our editing team. Photographers have the ability to put in edit requests and add-ons for clients, and it allows the editors to efficiently track and deliver accurately what our clients want. It also helps us track extra photo shoots for accounting purposes, incentive programs company wide, and specific projects certain parts of the company are working on separately. Since using monday.com we have significantly cut down on errors and missed opportunities.
  • Effectively track projects with all of the info employees need right in front of them, customized to the style the business needs.
  • Share info between either the entire company, specific departments, or specific people easily and accurately.
  • Automations take a ton of work off of the user, allowing a simpler way for better communication.
  • More customizable automations, but every update adds something new, so I imagine that will be coming in the future.
  • I feel like the pricing could be done in a simpler way that would make it much more viable for smaller businesses.
  • I would like to see more available uses for accounting purposes, such as ways to keep up with P&L, expenditures, etc.
Typically, anything I can think of having they already have a template for roughly what I am looking for. With a few tweaks I can easily add a new board or group for a new project and invite all of the necessary people. There is a small learning curve to using the features, but the help section of the website is detailed, often with video tutorials, on how to do just about everything.
I have not had to use their support.
Most of the features work flawlessly, I have noticed that the more automations I add on a board the slower the website seems to run with that board pulled up. I do notice updates being rolled out quickly and I have very high hopes for the future of this website. Overall I cannot praise what monday.com has done for our company enough.

I could see ways that monday.com would be useful for any business, but with the pricing I would imagine it is best suited for project-driven businesses where communication and collaboration between employees is vital. It streamlines communication for both employees that need detailed information and managerial personnel who need information at-a-glance.
