Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

As a new manager, Monday.com has truly helped me to keep my team organized and productive. Everyone can see clearly what they need to do by what date and I can manage better by seeing everyone's workload. It is easier to move things around to make sure the team isn't overwhelmed. We use it daily and it has become the second website I check when I start work (after my emails). I can quickly see what the agenda is for today and see if anyone is stuck anywhere that may need help. Monday.com helps us to communicate with each other better and there's a record in case we need to find information quickly. Working with a fully remote team has definitely gone a lot smoother.

  • Nice add-ons to make the boards fun and personal to the team
  • Easy to see what items are due during the week
  • Their mobile version is not as friendly as their desktop version
  • I have noticed that it is becoming more expensive when you want to use certain plug-ins, such as now the forms are a paid feature
  • Sometimes it is hard to find certain information within different boards as I would be looking for a keyword within the update section, not the columns. I do wish it had a way of being like 'Google' within all the boards
  • It has saved me a few hours when doing reports on our Facebook ads as everything is automatically shown on our ads board.
  • Helped to boost productivity and morale by integrating with Google Analytics and showcasing how well the previous work led to gaining leads
  • It now takes me an hour just to plan out the team's work for the next 2 weeks. Then it takes us 15-20mins to discuss the plan. It just saved a lot of time as it used to take 2-3 hours to plan and 40mins to go over things and make changes.
As a marketing manager, I have been able to automate sign-ups that come in through certain ads I have done and this is easily automated and sent to the sales team. integrating with both Facebook and Google Analytics helps me to see things quickly and I can make changes to certain ads without spending hours analyzing it. Also with my team, I don't need to keep checking in on them to see if things are finished as all they have to do is mark their item as done and I get notified for it. For example, a social media design is marked as done so I then know it is time to schedule that post. Definitely makes the whole workflow easier and smoother without so many follow-ups.
I have actually not used their customer service much and this is because they have loads of material, especially YouTube content whereby you can find things for yourself and go through their step-by-step guide on how to do it. So I feel that I can only give a neutral rating for this.
I love how flexible the product is. You can change columns and design a board that fits your specific needs. Everything is laid out in a way that is easy to glance at and you know exactly how the team is. I feel like I could not be as organized or productive without it.

I honestly feel that for us, as a remote team, we wouldn't be as organized as we are without Monday.com. I am always telling my previous colleagues about how well it works. Especially for someone like me who loves to organize and see things clearly, especially future projects. Everything is in one place and easily accessible when I need it. It helps me to keep on top of things and not feel too overwhelmed about the workload or if anything has been missed out. Communication is key when going into remote work and this helps to improve communication, have transparency and build a team's trust.
