monday.com delivers our Deliverables and drives User Acceptance
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We track projects, deliverables, bits of data, parties, events, and even more compliance and governance matters. Notably, monday.com is used by Project Managers and non-Project Managers. monday.com found a deep following within our organizations. Primarily because it is simple for all to implement. However, it is also implemented org-wide because it is colorful. We found color drives acceptance amongst our creatives.
Pros
- Fast creation of a task list
- Easy build-out of columns and details
- Quick, colorful visualizations
- Support Team is quick and responsive
- List of 3rd-Party add-ins is both extensive and growing
Cons
- Sub-Tasks are not as flexible as main Tasks. For example, I cannot ROUND the summary of a set of SubTasks. So I create a Formula to ROUND the SubTasks.
- >25% of our org is using monday.com to build Boards & projects. Only 5% used our prior Work Management System.
- 100% of project communication is kept within monday.com. Which means we don't have to search Slack, Email, or other places to find a message.
- 100% of our project files are kept or linked with monday.com. So, we don't have to find missing files in other locations.
- monday.com integrates with Salesforce, so we don't have to manually duplicate data
- 3rd-Party solutions are linking to our monday.com data and producing reports as humans read reports.
Uptime is superb. No complaints.
Sometimes the response time feels slow.
Sometimes I must refresh a page to restore a feature's functionality.
These might be problems with my Internet speed or with my laptop's memory management service.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with monday.com's functionality, uptime, and response time.

Airtable served us well for data management. However, our senior management told us Project Managers we would no longer be using Airtable. monday.com serves us well with project management AND light-weight database usage.
Workfront served we Project Managers very well. However, Workfront was never going to be accepted by our non-Project Managers for managing their projects. monday.com's ease of use and colorful UI build adoption among our non-PMs.
