Overall Satisfaction with Monetate

Monetate is being used across our Marketing department to enhance the customer experience. It is being used for targeting customers with specific promotion messaging, testing offers / creative / functionality, and lightbox messaging. It allows us to target specific customers with relevant messaging to optimize orders, traffic and revenue.
  • Monetate is very user friendly, which allows multiple departments to use the tool and be self sufficient.
  • I feel Monetate is fit our needs perfectly, so can't think of anything I would have done differently.
  • Monetate definitely enhanced our conversion, email sign ups, and bounce rate.
Again, the tool is very user friendly and flexible, allowing us to test a variety of changes - whether it be creative, functionality or offers. And these tests can be turned off and on within seconds, to allow us to optimize conversion without hurting margin and so forth.
We used some segmentation, but didn't get fully involved with it. So I don't have a real opinion on it.
I did not use this tool as much, so don't have a real opinion.
Analytics and Reporting capabilities were great. Easy to read and understand, with dashboards and then full reporting options. The reports gave good information on where to look for opportunities. I wouldn't use it to replace your site analytics tool, but definitely good to have as back up and for reference.

Monetate is great for smaller teams in that you have help from Monetate (tech, strategy, etc) and it's very intuitive, so you don't have to be a rocket scientist to use the tool or code things. Once our tech team sets it up, we're good to go using it.
