Overall Satisfaction with Namely

We use Namely across our entire organization. We use it for Payroll, Benefits, TimeKeeping, Performance Management, Onboarding.
  • The integration with Jazz ATS and the onboarding work flow is a strength
  • The adobe e signature feature is a strength
  • The community message board is a strength
  • The ability to link the calendar to google calendar is a strength
  • Payroll functionality - inability to calculate OT based on regular rate of pay adjustments, Inaccurate accruals on paystubs for non exempt employees, and more
  • Time off for non exempt employees does not automatically populate into the HRIS calendar
  • Benefit administration and support and EDI feeds, glitchy and questionable
  • Tasks and Reviews- inability to sort by multiple categories
  • Customer Support - not timely and often given incorrect or incomplete information
  • Inability to pull reports out of one single system for payroll, HRIS and Namely time
  • Namely slow to respond and react to changing labor and payroll laws
  • Tax department not great
  • Onboarding time improved by over 50%.
  • Employee self service has reduced HR workload providing needed time to focus on other HR areas
  • Payroll and tax issues puts a strain on accounting deparment
We chose Namely over these other products 2 years ago based on competitive pricing, better UX and all in one offering (Benefits, Payroll, Time, HRIS).
HRIS implementation was very good. Payroll, Namely Time and Benefit implementation were all below average and was not an ideal experience having to deal with 4 different implementation managers.

Do you think Namely delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Namely's feature set?

No

Did Namely live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Namely go as expected?

No

Would you buy Namely again?

No

The HRIS system is adequate for our current company size but is not scalable as we grow. Payroll and benefits have not been up to the standard we had hoped for.
