ROI is undoubtedly one of the advantages of ADW.
It provides automatic maintenance.
It provides strong database performance with automatic indexing.

Alternatives Considered

I have used DBCS, ExaCC, ATP and many other OCI products.

Other Software Used

Oracle Database, Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Exadata Database Machine

It fits well in new implementations where the application is built from scratch. For applications already created and that have a closed data model, a migration to Oracle Autonomous Database is very difficult.
