Overall Satisfaction with Oracle HCM Cloud
Used for recruiting and onboarding employees (Taleo). Talent is being used for performance and goals. Both cloud products are being used across the entire partnership. Taleo has streamlined the complex recruiting process across the United States. Talent performance and goals has just been implemented and we are struggling with this product. It replaced a legacy app that was simple but couldn't keep up with the demand for an organization our size.
Pros
- No input on this as we have not yet deemed the Cloud implementation a success
Cons
- Service model is a difficult cultural change. More support in guidance on governance prior to making a sale would help.
- Service levels for problem resolution rarely meet targets and don't meet this customer's expectations.
- Assignments of ISM and CSM are poor. In our case, no assignment of an ISM was made until we escalated through our sales channel. Further, the ISM set her own success criteria rather than working with us on this. Even though the project isn't fully implemented, the ISM removed herself from the implementation effort. No CSM is assigned to our account.
- None to report. Taleo implementation only 6 months ago and performance and goals implementation still in progress.
Oracle was selected based on legacy presence of Oracle HCM (PeopleSoft) products and the successes with the legacy products. The technology and integration ranked higher for Oracle than the other products reviewed, however, the other products were deemed easier to use from and end user and UI perspectives.
