Usability

Amazing user experience overall. The only thing that I CANNOT get to work right is composing templates. Editing a template constantly has issues just by pressing delete or enter key. The whole email gets messed up and I have to resort to composing the email in Gmail and then copying and pasting the email in Outreach.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

[It's] Being used primarily by sales. Within sales, it is used by sales associates to automate emails, track email opens and forwards, and make calls. It aims to address the business problem of efficiency. Salespeople already have a lot on their plates. Outreach helps automate as much as possible so that the salesperson doesn't have to remember quite as much and can reach prospects easier.

Syncing with Gmail

Overlay screen can take up a lot of loading time
Uploading contacts from Salesforce to Outreach could be easier
To my understanding, there is no way of uploading contacts via a spreadsheet

Return on Investment

Positive impact reaching out to clients when I wouldn't have time to otherwise.
Negative SDR reaching out to clients when I didn't want them to. Not enough safeguards against reaching out to clients that I'm already working with.

Alternatives Considered

ToutApp

Able to upload contact lists in ToutApp much easier, can't do it in Outreach.

Outreach DOMINATES ToutApp in call tasks, however. UI is better and less cumbersome in Outreach but I've also had more glitches in outreach too...

Likelihood to Recommend

Well Suited: Tasks and calls are much more manageable
Automated Sequences are great.

Less appropriate for calling someone you already know because local presence seems sketchy.

Outreach-Great for task automation and making local calls. Comes with one or two glitches...
