Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

It's pretty simple to use however the UI could be a little more intuitive. Sometimes I find myself spending too much time trying to find the right button to click for accomplishing a seemingly simple task. The good news is I can typically find what I'm looking for through trial and error. Also the support team is excellent. I've emailed them and gotten responses within an hour.
Outreach is used by most of the sales teams at my company. Business development uses it to send email sequence campaigns to prospects, account managers use it to send campaigns about add-on products, and various teams use it to drive awareness of special events to drive customer and prospect attendance. Other times, many of us simply use the Gmail plugin to track when one-off emails are opened.
  • Quickly create multi-step campaigns with dynamic fields for personalization
  • Provides visibility into coworkers communications with prospects
  • Tracks metrics like open rates, opt-outs, etc.
  • Could have better reporting capabilities
  • Would be nice if there were features to more easily A/B test different subject lines, etc.
  • Sometimes it says my prospect opened the email when in fact it was a colleague opening it who was copied on the email (not sure if any solution can avoid this)
  • It's helped me increase meetings
  • Enables me to focus more on "sales activities" versus mindlessly sending emails manually
  • Enabled me to track communications with prospects and customers so my colleagues and I don't step on each others toes
Others in my company use Marketo. I've taken a glimpse at it. While I've heard it has some pretty robust features based on what I've seen Outreach is way easier for the average user to use successfully.
Perfect for sales teams to create and send simple campaigns. Pretty easy for non-technical business users to use once you get the hang of it. Probably not suitable for a large marketing organization looking to send campaigns to tens of thousands of recipients.
