Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

I am not a fan of it at all. the emailing portion of it works okay but still if you use Drive a lot it doesn't interact well. The phone portion of it is terrible and calls get dropped all the time. The sidebar/window mode is also terrible. It fails to update/load and freezes
It is being used by the sales team to manage our cold outreach strategy. We use it for both cold emails as well as cold phone calls. Outreach really helps our team keep on track of who they should be contacting when they should be contacting them and of course why they should be contacting them.

  • The telephony is terrible
  • Window mode is the worst thing ever
  • The sync between SFDC and Outreach is terrible and the API push bogs down our work day

Given the opportunity, I would move back to SalesLoft in a heartbeat and will be pushing my sales org to do so. We used SalesLoft in the past and had no issues with it at all. Outreach promised the sidebar which looked really cool. And it still does LOOK really cool
Outreach is I would say best suited for users that need limited functionality with the platform. For super users or people that have a lot going on throughout the day, this is not a good product for them. Outreach is constantly communicating with SFDC which it very hard for updating accounts.
