Parse.ly has had a positive impact on our understanding of what readers want to read from us and when, enabling more targeted and productive use of our resources.

Parse.ly provides clearer insights into what stories are performing strongly in real time. Its interface is more user-friendly and it is easy to compare different time periods, titles or author statistics. Chartbeat had a website overlay to show where readers are going on site, but its dashboard proved a little harder to navigate to get the data you wanted.

Usability

It is informative, easy to navigate and clear and easy to understand. The site is definitely user-friendly and allows you to find out a great deal about the traffic your website is generating and much more besides. It is well-presented and provides in-depth information that you may not have previously been aware of.

It provides everything we need insofar as what the articles on our website are doing, as we seek to grow our presence online. I would have no hesitation in renewing our use of it.

I think it's ideal when it comes to finding out information about an article you've recently published, when you want to know how it's doing and how many people it's reaching worldwide. Maybe it's less appropriate when it comes to finding out more about the viewing of the different categories.
