Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

We started using Paychex Flex in 2017 at the request of our Accountant. I hesitated, as I had always done payroll myself through our business accounting software. However, I found Paychex Flex to easy to use that I can't see me doing payroll any other way. I have had other companies since try to get me to make a change and I do not see any reason to leave Paychex Flex. It is user friendly, great reports, and whenever I need assistance, they are always there to help.

Positively - The payroll reports and job costing reports has helped me with forecasting our companies profits. I rely on these reports weekly.
I find that the assistance available from Paychex Flex is always very helpful and they respond very timely
I previously used Quickbooks payrolls. I will never go back to that system for payroll. Paychex Flex is easier to use and more reliable.

I rate Paychex Flex at a "10" rating, because since 2017 I have used it weekly and have never had any problems with the system. It is very user friendly and I reply on their reports.
Paychex Flex just recently changed the way of mailing W-2's. Previously they mailed all W-2's to us directly, then we mailed them out to the individual employees. This year, for the 2022 W-2's, Paychex mailed them directly to the employees - I thought that change was great. I appreciated not having to deal with them.

Relationship with Paychex, Inc.

It has been some time since we starting using Paychex Flex, but at the time we started, the people we met with in person were wonderful.
It has been some time since we started using Paychex Flex (2017) - at that time, they were very accommodating and always available for any assistance. I have not had to speak with anyone from Sales for several years.
I do not recall - it was in 2017
Nothing that I can think of at this time.

Using Paychex Flex

1 - I am the only one in our organization that uses Paychex Flex, as I am the Chief Financial Officer and run the weekly payroll.
1 - As a small business that is owned by my husband an I, I am the only one that uses Paychex Flex for our business.

Paychex Flex was the first payroll service I ever used and it was a very easy adjustment to make. I will never go back to doing it myself
I used Paychex Flex because it was highly recommended by our Accountant (at that time). We have changed Accountant's but have not changed using Paychex Flex.

I do not believe that I pay for "premium support" We did pay for Human Resources at the beginning but found it was extremely expensive and we had no use for it, being such a small business.

Yes. Recently our bank account was hacked into and I had to change that information with Paychex Flex and I was able to do that with ease. This was a huge impact on my day to day business and I appreciated the help I was given by Paychex Flex
