Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

My company uses Paycor to do payroll and taxes. Paycor handles our W-2s and our 1095-Cs. They pay our income taxes and child support for us. We use both the direct deposit options or our employees have the option to receive a physical check. We also are integrated with our company that does 401k, meaning an employee can do a change on the 401k website and it will automatically change on Paycor without me needing to do anything.
  • Anyone can do payroll on Paycor, it is very simple, point, click, fill in the blank.
  • It is nice not to have to worry about submitting taxes.
  • It is not user friendly giving an employee access to see their pay stubs. The layout is very odd.
  • Payroll is easy. If I can't be here I can easily talk someone through it.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved 1-25 hours per month. - I have realized my time savings by being able to spend time on other areas of my job. Not spending as much time on payroll is very nice and now I can be productive in other aspects of my job since I don't spend a lot of time doing payroll.
This program is, for the most part, very user friendly. In the past if there has been anything I haven't been able to figure out, the staff has been quick and efficient helping me with anything I was unable to figure out on my own. Point and click, easy to use.
Payroll stacks up pretty well. When I had CDK it was nice that they could input all the accounting in for me vs. Paycor where I do have to do that by had, but the actual payroll itself, is easier to do on Paycor than it is to do on CDK.
If you want control over your standard pays without having to put too much thought into it, I would say this is the program for you. I do sometimes wish there was a way to have my employees hours automatically be put in without me having to run them and type them in.
