What We Need at a Price We Can Afford
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
I use it to enter Employee Action Forms--to document--to check on review status and do reviews. As well to check payrates--dates of hire--current status on employee base. On the self-serve side: to request PTO--to view paycheck and deductions and to update/revise personal data. Lastly, I use community to send out messages and impressions.
Pros
- pay check information
- PTO tracking
- data availability on employee base
Cons
- reviews (process seems clunky)
- better data driven decision making--leading to better employee base
- consistency across the network (efficiency and ease of use regardless of job changes)
- tracking to cut down on any fraud/abuse--compliance management benefit
Biggest positive is in consistency and efficiency of processes. Plus the documentation/ tracking helps with employee relations / disputes/ and any labor board or unemployment queries.
Impressions are an excellent way to give praise and call out specific employees for recognition--great tool especially when used peer-to-peer. As well, Community can highlight birthdays--anniversaries-or company-wide notifications in a concise manner and available in one voice across the enterprise.
robust--total cost of ownership--a solution that meets our needs--robust but not over-paying
