Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is our HRIS system and finalizes our Payroll. Also we handle benefits with Paylocity from Web Benefits. I use Weblink to update employee details in bulk. Also our outside vendors correspond with Paylocity.

  • Adding NON EMPLOYEES is a hassle if they need access to different areas
  • Benefits could be a little less cumbersome
  • Constant verification for different areas to access when you are a system administrator is a pain in the butt.
  • Job titles should automatically pull in the pay grade
  • Being able to delete an entry should be way easier when entered incorrectly
  • You should be able to open a different Check date without calling Paylocity to create when your working with corrections in payroll
  • With Data insites there is alot of information but training for new members using the system could be better.
  • I like Data insites
Paylocity does not do our time and attendance. We have outside sources that handle talent requisition. We are part of a system now and with alot of hospitals having to become a system it would be better if Paylocity could easier feed in the data that is provided elsewhere than not to use these features in Paylocity at all.
We no longer use due to systemization. Sometimes an employee will utilize this feature. But mainly it is handled outside of the organization now.
Novatime is our time and attendance vendor. Its very user friendly and has great product support.

We had CPSI prior to Paylocity. Paylocity is a Cadillac compared to that system. But it does have some quirks about it. You just have to learn to deal with it. When creating job codes, you should be able to create the title in the same area, along with pulling in the correct pay policy to the areas that are needed when you have an outside company handling time and attendance. This should auto populate in your custom tabs that you have created which feeds into the vendor company. All areas should be in one page for creating jobs, titles, pay codes, without clicking to different areas.
