Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for Payroll, time and labor, recruiting, onboarding, surveys, performance management, benefits, and document management. We didn't not have these integrated into one platform in the past. They were all done by separate companies. It is nice for employees to have one platform with one login and password.
  • All in one
  • Customer service
  • benefit administration
  • There are too many buttons to push on the back end. It is not very user friendly for administrators
  • Often times if I need something and I call and get told that it isn't possible I can call back and the next representative does it quickly
  • My representative is never available I always have to talk to someone else.
  • Settings in Payroll change for no reason which causes errors.
  • Reduced time expenditures
  • increased errors
  • More streamlined process
  • More questions from staff
I have been able to be more efficient as everything is housed in one spot. In the past I would have to convert data across several different systems manually. Since Paylocity I no longer have to do that.
ADP did not allow for a streamlined process like I wanted. It was much more user friendly for payroll processing though and there were less errors.

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

When you are needing an "all in one" paylocity is a good tool. I feel that it does well integrating with itself (benefits flow over into payroll) but does not integrate well with other companies as much. It isn't great if you have an admin who isn't very tech savvy or doesn't have good attention to detail because there is so many options on the back end that don't make a lot of sense.
